Roll-to-roll Evaporation Coating Machine

In this roll-to-roll vacuum evaporation coating machine, the flexible film substrate undergoes a fully continuous, automated process-spanning unwinding, web transport, evaporation deposition, and rewinding-within a vacuum chamber. Utilizing a choice of three thermal evaporation sources (resistance, induction, or electron beam), materials such as metals and oxides are vaporized and deposited onto surfaces like PET or PI films, enabling the vacuum evaporation coating of flexible web materials.

The complete equipment assembly comprises: unwinding and rewinding units, a tension control system, a vacuum system, an evaporation source system, a film thickness monitoring system, and a fully automatic PLC control system.

The working principle can be divided into: resistance heating evaporation vacuum winding coating equipment; induction heating evaporation vacuum winding coating equipment; electron beam heating evaporation vacuum winding coating equipment;

Among them, the electron beam heating vacuum winding coating equipment is used for large-scale evaporation of high-melting-point materials such as SiO2.

ZFRW: High-frequency induction evaporation / continuous wire-feed resistance evaporation; suitable for high-speed deposition of low-melting-point metals such as aluminum. Features fully automatic wire feeding and stable coating performance; the mainstream choice for the packaging industry.

SFRW: Electron-beam evaporation with a water-cooled crucible; capable of depositing high-melting-point dielectric materials such as SiO₂. Suitable for optical coatings and transparent gas-barrier films.

High-precision web tension control
Tension control ensures that the web runs at high speeds without stretching, wrinkling, or significant deviation, guaranteeing consistent film thickness across the entire roll and a neat winding profile.

Vacuum evaporation produces films of high purity and uniform thickness,optional ion pre-treatment is available to enhance film adhesion.

Fully automated process, easy to operate and maintain
Integrated PLC and touchscreen control with recipe management and parameter storage, features automatic web guiding, film thickness monitoring, and vacuum interlocking protection.
