An anti-reflective coating machine is a device specially used to deposit one or more layers of thin films on the surface of optical components or other materials.

Its core function is to significantly reduce the reflection of light of a specific wavelength or band on the surface through the interference effect, thereby increasing the transmittance and reducing stray light.

 

Applications:

 

The applications of anti-reflective coatings are extremely wide, covering almost all areas where light needs to be utilized or controlled:

 

Eyeglasses and visual optics

Eyeglass lenses:

Almost all high-quality prescription glasses, sunglasses, and safety glasses are coated with AR coating to reduce glare, increase light transmittance (especially when driving at night), improve visual clarity and comfort, and improve appearance (reduce lens glare).

 

Contact lenses:

Some specially designed contact lenses may use AR technology.

Magnifier/Microscope eyepiece/Objective lens: Improve observation clarity.

 

Photography and Videography
Camera/Camcorder lens:

Each air-glass interface in the lens group may be coated with multiple layers of AR coating to reduce internal reflections, glare and ghosting, and improve imaging contrast and color reproduction.

High-end lenses are usually coated with very complex coatings.

 

Filters:

The anti-reflective coating machine is equipped with a quartz crystal film thickness meter and an optical film thickness automatic control system. It uses PLC and industrial computers in conjunction with the independently developed PY3100 system to achieve full automatic control of the entire working process, which can be unattended, thereby improving work efficiency and ensuring the consistency and stability of product quality.

 

The high-speed vacuum system is equipped with a cryogenic device and excellent dynamic vacuum capability, providing the necessary vacuum conditions for the preparation of complex optical film systems.

 

The E-type electron gun with stable evaporation distribution and reliable performance and the optimized positional relationship between the evaporation source and the workpiece holder ensure the evaporation distribution of the film material for the realization of the precision film system.

 

The stable and high-speed rotating system of the workpiece rack makes the product spectrum curves of the inner and outer circles of the workpiece rack more consistent.
